PAO PAO is developed by ArtDock and published by Dreland Enterprises, and the official Steam page lists it as coming soon with a release date of October 26, 2026. Its own description frames the game around a restaurant: you turn a small kitchen into a working business, install equipment, assemble a menu and serve customers, alone or with up to three friends. Around that centre sit fishing from the shore or a boat, growing crops, collecting resources in the forest, wandering the town and spending time in an arcade. The page also lists variable weather, seasons and a full day-night cycle.
The other half of the game is what you build and decorate. Houses, the restaurant and the garden are all listed as spaces you can restyle, and the store text says you can change your layout at any time. Character appearance is customized at the start of the demo by clicking through coloured tabs, with more options in the second demo build. Early Access notes put the expected run at roughly six to twelve months, with deeper character progression, extra areas and more depth in cooking, service, fishing and gardening planned along the way.
This site is not affiliated with ArtDock or Dreland Enterprises. Everything here is drawn from the official Steam store page and the developer's Steam announcements, plus clearly labelled hands-on demo coverage and player reports. When a detail such as a recipe list, a boat control scheme or a fishing spot map is not published, the articles say so rather than filling the gap. Dates and platform listings are snapshots of what the pages said when they were checked.

Frequently Asked Questions
When does PAO PAO release?
The official Steam page lists PAO PAO for Early Access on October 26, 2026. ArtDock repeated the date in a September 18, 2026 Steam announcement. It is an Early Access launch rather than a finished 1.0 release, and the page gives no time of day for the unlock as of 2026-10-19.
Is there a PAO PAO demo I can play now?
Yes. A free demo has been downloadable on Steam since September 2026, separate from the store entry for the full game. The demo patch notes published on September 18, 2026 state that demo saves can be carried over to the full version, so progress you make now is meant to continue into Early Access.
How many players can play PAO PAO together?
Up to four players in total, you plus three friends, in online co-op. The Steam store text describes solo play or co-op with up to three friends, and the Early Access notes describe the game as playable solo or in co-op with up to four players. Local split-screen is not offered; a developer reply on the Steam forum in February 2025 said a couch mode was not planned.
Which platforms is PAO PAO on?
As of 2026-10-19 the official Steam page lists Windows as the platform, with no PS5 version listed and Steam Deck compatibility marked Unknown. Microsoft's store also carries an Xbox product page for Xbox One and Series X|S, but that page showed no release date as of the same date, so the October 26, 2026 date is the PC date.
Is there an official price or pre-order bonus for PAO PAO?
No price appears on the official Steam page as of 2026-10-19; the page lists the game as coming soon and shows no figure. This wiki does not publish invented prices, discount percentages or bonus lists, so check the Steam page itself closer to launch.
